Halloween 2017

These girls like watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the older two even have their favorite turtle, and I have always thought it would be a perfect Halloween costume for the girls.  I finally had the time to make these super cute costumes and the girls loved it!

What have we been up to!

Avery started Kindergarten!  She has absolutely loved school and is excited about learning.img_3303 img_3304 img_3307 img_3309img_3314

Raegan started her second year of Preschool.  She only goes two days a week but enjoys it and has asked why she can’t go every day like Avery.img_3316 img_3326 img_3327

Avery got glasses!  She had her well child checkup and she read the eye chart and they recommended we get her eyes checked.  Sure enough this girl needed glasses.  We picked out some dark purple Princess glasses and she is so cute!!img_7256

It has been a busy couple of months!  I get so busy with everyday life and blogging completely slips my mind.  I know many of you like to know what the girls have been up to and how big they have gotten.  Maybe I will find a good way to keep up with the blog eventually!

I started this post after Christmas and I am just now getting it finished up!  Hopefully I can at least get in some monthly posts!

Fall pictures

Here are some pictures of the girls we took back in October.  For the most part everyone did great.  Skylee wasn’t really in the mood for pictures so some of her faces are just ornery!  Then there is Avery who would be happy to have her picture taken all day long!

24 months

We just celebrated the twins 2nd Birthday!

These two sweet girls are growing up too fast.IMG_3262

Skylee @ 24 months:

Weight: 23 lbs 8 oz – (18 month: 21 lbs 8 oz)
Height:  34 1/4 in – (18 month: 32 in)
Head: 47 in (18 month: 46 in)

Rylee @ 24 months:

Weight: 22 lbs 11 oz – (18 month: 20 lbs 12 oz)
Height:  33 3/4 in – (18 month: 32 1/2 in)
Head: 46 1/2 in (18 month: 46 in)

These measurements are not the most accurate, but the doctor didn’t feel the need to have the nurse try and measure the twins again.  I should have taken some backup to this doctors appointment.  These girls wanted nothing to do with sitting on the scale or laying down on the table so they could do their measurements!  Crying and a good death grip around my neck made things really hard to get done!  Once the doctor came in they had gotten a little more comfortable and did great for him and didn’t cry at all.

Where we are at this month:

These girls are in full toddler mode when it comes to play.  They are running, climbing, and jumping!  They were climbing out of their cribs so much we finally broke down and transitioned them to toddler beds.  This has been a somewhat easy transition.  The main issue is during nap time they will play and play and sometimes not get their nap.  They have enjoyed going to the pool this summer.  Once they got comfortable being in the water they loved just floating around and playing in the water.

As of lately their favorite toys are baby dolls.  They will change the dolls diaper and feed them bottles.  They hold them with care and will even bounce them.  It’s the cutest thing!

Strollers from Grandma!

Food has been an issue lately.  All of the sudden they wont eat meat??  I’m thinking its just a phase, maybe brought on by teething, but hoping it passes soon.  We offer them meat whenever we eat it, but once it is in their mouth they will spit it out and say “Yuck”!  Sometimes they will eat chicken nuggets but not always.  They still eat fruits and most veggies we’ve offered them pretty good.
Not in the mood for pictures!

They have been sleeping good for the most part.  We have the occasional waking at night but I don’t typically have to do anything.  They sometimes fall out of bed, which I hate, but keep in mind they are in toddler beds which are very low to the ground.  I also have their baby quilts on the floor folded in half so its a cushioned fall!IMG_3267

Skylee –

Miss Skylee has definitely taken on the role of being the big sister with Rylee.  She cares for her in such a sweet way.  She gives the funniest facial expressions and gets that from her Daddy!  Sky has quite the attitude for a 2 year old.  Sometimes its funny, but most of the time its like “really? already?!”  She is usually the first to run to daddy when he gets home!  Her and Avery have a lot in common!  Both Daddy’s girls and addicted to the Ipad!

Words: They have taken off in the vocabulary area so I can’t even list all the words they now say.  They are up to 2-3 word sentences.  Can repeat almost anything you say!

Teeth: 16

Likes: iphone/ipad (seriously she is obsessed!), binky (not needing as much anymore), Daddy (still daddys girl), Big Sisters (they love playing with sisters), Bugatti (she enjoys bossing him around!), outside (a favorite for all my girls), shoes (completely obsessed!)

Dislikes: sisters bothering her, being hungry, mommy or daddy leaving, when anyone steals her stuff especially the Ipad!

Rylee –

Definitely a mama’s girl!  I have to carry this girl around more than any of the others, but she is the baby of the family, so she gets a pass!  Rylee is the sweetest little girl!  She cares for others but especially sister bear!  She is more willing to give hugs, but also wants her space when she is just done with people!  Not as talkative as Skylee.  More like Raegan and on the shy side.

Words: Repeating almost anything you say

Teeth: 16

Likes:  iphone/ipad (likes to play on them, but doesn’t last long), binky (very attached), Big Sisters (loves when they play with her), Bugatti (like to sit or lay on him), climbing (will climb on/up anything), outside (adventurous), shoes (obsessed)

Dislikes: sisters bothering her, waiting to eat/being hungry, mommy leaving, teething.IMG_3291

IMG_3288 IMG_3289I think they cried more at this party than their first!  It started when everyone sang “Happy Birthday” so I think they were overwhelmed with everyone starring at them!

Just like that my baby girl is five and weeks away from starting Kindergarten!  Time flies by so fast when you have kids.  I am so thankful for this beautiful girl God has blessed me with!

Pre-K Graduation & Last Day of School

Last week Avery Graduated from Pre-K and is ready for Kindergarten!  We were so happy with all that she learned at her preschool and are glad we made the decision to send the girls to preschool.  Avery has already gone through all her Kindergarten screening and scored very high in all the categories except one, and they told us nobody does good in that category and not to worry.  I guess its an area that is hard to understand unless you’ve already been doing it.

The girls also had their last day of school.  They pretty much had an easy fun day.  After picking them up they told me they didn’t have to work on any papers and only took a short nap!  They are too funny!

Young Living Essential Rewards

Essential Rewards come into play for those of you who have a wholesale account. You are not required to sell or distribute anything to reap the benefits of an Essential Rewards membership. See how to sign up.

What are Essential Rewards?

Essential Rewards (ER) is an autoship program where you purchase 50 PV (PV actually stands for PERSONAL VOLUME, however, for this to make more sense, in this post I am referring to PV as point value) every month. Usually, the Point Value is dollar for dollar in price value, but not always. Look at the PV of each product you are purchasing to make sure your PV (not necessarily amount spent) equals 50 every month.

With the Essential Rewards program, you will earn points toward future product purchases. This program rewards you for every autoship purchase of 50 PV or more. You are allowed ONE Essential Rewards autoship purchase per month, but can make as many regular orders as you wish. (Regular orders do not accumulate ER points.)

Essential Rewards Graphic

How do I earn points?

Each month on the Essential Rewards program gets you a certain amount of points – a percentage of what you purchase back in points that you can cash in at a later time to buy other wonderful Young Living products.

  • In the first six months (months 1 – 6), you get 10% back in ER point credits.
  • In the next six months (months 7 – 12), you get 15% back in ER point credits.
  • In every month after, beginning with month 13, you get 20% back in ER point credits.

That can add up fairly quickly, especially if you are taking advantage of the monthly promos, and even more quickly once you hit month 7. Your points begin to accumulate as soon as your order ships, and you can view your ER points every time you log in to your Virtual Office; they are right there on your main page.

How do I get an ER Account?

If you are just now joining Young Living, you can start on the ER autoship program right now! See how to join here, and then after selecting your Starter Kit, below it you will see Essential Rewards. In addition to the Starter Kit, you need to choose one of the Essential Rewards Kits and your autoship date.

If you are already a YL Wholesale Member, and want to join ER, you can sign up one of two ways. You do NOT have to purchase an Essential Rewards kit, ever, unless you want the products that come in them. {For example, the NingXia Red Essential Rewards kit is the absolute cheapest way to purchase NingXia Red.} If your account will not set up without one, add one, then add the products you want, and then delete the kit.

  • Online through your Virtual Office: This is where you purchase your YL products. Simply log in to your account, click “Essential Rewards” in the left-hand column, and follow the instructions.
  • Or, call YL at 1-800-371-2928.

Do I have to order the same things every single month?

No! This is the beauty of the ER program. You can change what you order every. single. month. The only “minimum” you have to reach is 50 PV. There are NO other requirements at all! This is a fantastic way to build your oil supply and try new oils and products.

It is super-easy to change your orders each month. Simply log in to Virtual Office, click on Essential Rewards in the left-hand corner, click the little “Edit” button, the “Add Products” tab, and the “Add Products” or “Remove Products” button to get your cart just like you want it. When you are finished, click the “Save Essential Rewards” button at the bottom.  Follow all the steps for shipping & payment and you’re done.

How do I redeem my points?

After two consecutive months in the program, you can redeem your points by calling Young Living customer support or through your Virtual Office.

When redeeming your points, pay careful attention to the item or items’ POINT VALUE, not price. As I mentioned above, most oils have a dollar-for-dollar price-to-point amount, but not all. If you are wondering how much point value you have to “spend,” here is an example:

  • If you have 100 points in your account, you can redeem them for any product with a PV value up to 100 PV.
  • OR if you have 100 points in your account, you can redeem them for multiple products that have a TOTAL PV of up to 100.
  • All ER points redemption must be placed via “Quick Order.” You cannot use these on your Essential Rewards order.

When redeeming your points, please be aware that they do not cover tax or shipping.

I’m in the ER program, and I’ve decided I don’t want it any longer. What happens now?

If you decide the ER program is not a good fit for you, that’s ok! Before you cancel, just make sure to cash in any accumulated ER points because once you cancel, they are gone. Use up those points, and then call YL customer service to cancel, with no penalties.
