We decided to have a gender reveal party for our family and friends. We just had a little get together at our house. We served dinner and then we did the reveal. We decided to do the reveal using balloons filled with confetti and having the grandmas pop the balloons.
So here is what we found out…
Two girls came as a shock to both of us.. everyone we know, including family voted for two boys, or a boy and a girl. There was a small handful that said two girls. I even thought for sure there was at least one baby boy in there. My main reason for thinking we had a boy was based on the copper test that we did at my husbands birthday party where we announced that we were expecting. We did this test with our girls and it was right, my brother-in-law has done it on many other family/friends and has never been wrong, so even he was surprised. After the reveal we literally had a handful of people saying “I still think there is a boy in there”, my sister-in-law even said that she would bring a boy outfit to the hospital! One good thing about a twin pregnancy is the many ultrasounds that I get, so I will have plenty of opportunities to have the ultrasound tech double check!
So there you have it- Alex and I will have our hands full with four precious little girls!
